Veteran Frodan will headline another major casting desk.

WESG Grand Finals are coming January 12-15 with the largest non-Blizzard prize pool in Hearthstone, $300,000, and 24 players to contest it. The event is the culmination of the circuit that’s been going on since August last year and saw the brand visit every corner of the globe, including non-traditional esports regions such as Africa and the Middle East.

Jon “Orange” Westberg, Yevgeniy “Neirea” Shumilin and Sebastian “Xixo” Bentert are among the highlight players to take part in the grand finals, but the casting desk of WESG aims to match the renown. Hearthstone’s grizzled veteran Dan “Frodan” Chou will lead a talent desk of five, that also includes long-time casters Daniel “DTwo” Ikuta and Kacem “Noxious” Khilaji.

They will be joined by two upcoming talents, including Neil Bond who has recently been getting more and more major gigs, and Richard Campbell who gave his voice for the WESG North American qualifiers in September.

Although not giving out HCT points, WESG will be the first real major of the new year, heating up the action before the HCT-eligible events start rolling out, leading up to the Winter Championship later on.
