Everyone’s enjoying Paladin a lot.
Gadgetzan is out and the big decklist experiments have begun as the best players in the game race to find the most consistent deck of the new meta. Each of the three factions is getting love as every archetype – from the crazy aggressive to the greedy highlander – is being tested right now on ladder.
Paladin is getting a lot of attention as the class has returned to its minion-based roots. Players such as StrifeCro, Dog and Firebat are making good use of the new hand-buffing mechanic, pushing cards such as [card]smugglers run[/card] and [card]grimestreet outfitter[/card] to their full potential. Whether you prefer to go full on aggro with Dog’s list, murloc synergies with Firebat or just standard midrange with StrifeCro, the fun – and success – is guaranteed, as Paladin looks to be a class that has greatly benefited from Gadgetzan.

Over in the Kabal, highlander decks are ruling supreme. With [card]kazakus[/card] now in the game and many more board control cards through the faction’s potions, playing Reno decks has never paid off more. Here’s what StrifeCro and Amaz are trying with Mage and Priest, respectively.

We can’t just leave the Jade Lotus hanging, of course, and so far Druid has been the main class carrying the Jade Lotus mechanic. In the list below, Xixo is taking advantage of the synergy between [card]fandral staghelm[/card] and [card]jade idol[/card] to build the spell-heavy Druid deck that just might overtake the [card]malygos[/card] build as the top performer for the class.
