Decklist spotlight: 9 decks that got 12 wins in Heroic Brawl

The new Brawl mode is live and pro players have been trying to conquer it all evening. Here’s the ones who made it.

For $10 or 1,000 gold, Hearthstone players can now try their collection and skills in Heroic Brawl, the limited time offer that can win you 50 packs, three golden legendaries and heaps of golds and dust if you go all the way to 12 wins. The mode is considered to be the highest skill challenge in Hearthstone short of playing an actual pro player tournament, hence the opulent rewards.

Naturally, those who managed to beat the mode and get to the 12-wins are all experienced competitors. 2015 world champion Sebastian “Ostkaka” Engwall and his former team-mate Jung-Soo “Surrender” Kim headline the list, but it also features established names such as Victor “Vlps” Lopez and Tugay “MrYagut” Evsan.

For the majority of the players, Mage was the deck of choice, and particularly the Tempo build. The swingy nature of the deck has been successful for Surrender, Vlps and Wtybill, while Chessdude used Freeze Mage to go all the way. Midrange Shaman has been another successful deck, together with N’Zoth Warrior and Zoo.

Notably missing from the list of multi-Brawl completionists is the Malygos Druid, and so far only ShtanUdachi has managed to take it to 12 wins.

Korea Surrender – Tempo Mage
United States Bloodyface – Midrange Shaman

Germany MrYagut – N’Zoth Warrior
Sweden Ostkaka – Zoo
United States Vlps – Tempo Mage
China Wtybill – Tempo Mage
United States Rosty – Midrange Shaman
Russia ShtanUdachi – Malygos Druid
