Reynad, Trump, Firebat, Kripp comment on upcoming nerfs

Four of the most popular figures in Hearthstone share their thoughts on the recently announced changes.

A total of seven cards are to be nerfed in an upcoming patch, Blizzard revealed recently. Powerful Shaman tools [card]tuskarr totemic[/card] and [card]rockbiter weapon[/card], the mighty god Yogg-Saron and one of the best minions for aggro decks [card]abusive sergeant[/card] should be changed shortly before the Last Call Qualifiers for Blizzcon, scheduled to take place in a week.

The nerfs will come to as a relief to pro players and casual gamers alike. Shaman's oppression has gone on almost too long, with Aggro and Midrange builds reigning supreme on the ladder. Powered by the cheap and mighty [card]execute[/card], Warriors enjoyed strong tempo swings even in aggro decks like Dragon Warrior and the card remains downright the best removal spell in the game. Of course, there's also Yogg-Saron, a minion whose volatility has been the focus of many articles and much criticism, singlehandedly deciding tournament games on a regular basis.

How will those changes affect the meta to come, however? Tempo Storm owner Andrey "Reynad" Yanyuk, 2014 world champion James "Firebat" Kostesich and popular streamers Jeffrey "Trump" Shih and Octavian "Kripparrian" Morosan all laid out their thoughts in YouTube videos. Check them out below.
