Decklist spotlight: The Chinese N'Zoth line-up which qualified for Blizzcon

Yes, that's a N'Zoth Hunter you're looking at.

Far in the east, the last Gold Series of the year frinished by selecting the final two players to represent China in the world championship. Omegazero and Ham-Shirou punched their tickets to the biggest Hearthstone stage and joined countrymen Celestial’s Breath and eStar’s JasonZhou, completing the line-up.

While this is a great chance for these two up-and-comers to show their quality further, especially considering their lack of televised career compared to Breath and JasonZhaou, the decks they used to win the biggest tournament of their lives are far more intriguing. Omegazero had chosen a cookie-cutter line-up of Yogg Tokens, Tempo Mage, Aggro Shaman and Dragon Warrior, adding a strong DiscardLock as its fifth.

Ham-Shirou, on the other hand, stayed off-meta as much as possible. Apart from the ubiquitous Yogg Tokens and Dragon Warrior, Gold Series’ runner-up had opted for a trio of N’Zoth Decks, including Anyfin N’Zoth Paladin, Priest and… N’Zoth Hunter.

The latter is, needless to say, the most peculiar build of them all. It runs unusual board clears including [card]powershot[/card] and [card]dreadscale[/card] and continuously dumps deathrattle minions on the board – [card]infested wolf[/card], [card]savannah highmane[/card], [card]sylvanas windrunner[/card] – to feed the ever-hungry N’Zoth.

Omegazero’s decks:

Yogg Token Druid
Tempo Mage
Aggro Shaman
DiscardLock
Dragon Warrior

Ham-Shirou’s decks:

Yogg Token Druid
N’Zoth Hunter
N’Zoth Anyfin Paladin
N’Zoth Priest
Dragon Warrior
