StanCifka will try his best to take a second StarLadder championship.

The World and Chinese divisions of StarLadder i-League came to a close this weekend, and the line-up of eight players for the $50,000 grand finals is now set. In early July, one card slinger will take home $20,000 to put an end to the two-month odyssey.

Six players will represent themselves on this stage. DrHippi, JAB, Xixo and Hoej emerged as the victors from the World Division group stage, and Naiman and Kick-Off season champion Stanislav Cifka join them from the last chance bracket. In China, it was up and coming names Izoro and XieShuai who proved to be the best among invited pros and streamers and will attempt to topple the westerners next month.

Despite the bad odds, China nonetheless took home the win in the previous StarLadder i-League season as YoloMiracle's Robin defeated F2K's Cipher in a 4-1 series. Robin's success was one of the few his country has had against western players, including TiddlerCelestial's triumphant run at DreamHack Summer 2015 and LiBo's championship at WCA 2014. Recently, however, the country emerged victorious in the CN vs EU Seaosn 3 invitational and will be looking forward to upset the "foreigners" once again.
