China and Europe dead even after day two of CN vs EU Season 3

After day two of the championship tournament China and Europe are tied!

This years CN vs EU tournament is being held in Shanghai at the Yuanshen Sports Centre Stadium with a prize pool is € 44,000.  Once again, eight from Europe are going against eight from China.

It was predicted that China would struggle with beating the European: The region notorious struggled in these versus series not to mention  that every European player at season three has at least won one major LAN event.  However, the Chinese players have tied things up after day two with both sides now having two representatives in the playoffs.

In Group A, SuperJJ started off strong for Europe with a 3-0 victory over the Chinese player Pegy while Ostkaka won his first game in a Miracle Rogue mirror match with an insane [card]Eviscerate[/card] top deck made possible by using [card]Backstab[/card] on his own [card]Bloodmage Thalnos[/card].  The European duo ultimately took both top spots in the group and secured their region's domination on opening day.

In Group B the next day, however, Lovelychook and XingSu regained the momentum for China by eliminating both Orange and Naiman.  Main stories of the day included Naiman struggling on his Miracle Rogue draws, while Orange tried to make his Druid work and putting up close fights against the opposition before being eliminated as third in the group.

The championship tournament will continues with Group C.  The starting matches will be ZhangBo vs Kolento followed by Breath vs Thijs.  The group stage will be concluded on Thursday with Group D consisting of SleepyShaman, StanCifka, LoveCX and Lifecoach.
