Y’Shaarj revealed, alongside three new cards

The third Old God is here, and he brings help from your deck.

With unique and powerful effects, the first two Old Gods revealed [card]C'Thun[/card] and [card]N'Zoth[/card] came as deck-centric minions. Today, we learn what the third one – Y’Shaarj – will do.

Another 10-mana minion, Y’Shaarj is a massive 10/10 body with an immediate and repeatable end-of-turn trigger that summons a minion straight from your deck. What does this mean? It will reward decks with lots of expensive, powerful minions, whose mana cost can be cheated through Y’Shaarj’s effect. Think all the Giants, dragons like [card]Malygos[/card] and legendaries like [card]Mal'Ganis[/card] for example. Note that Y’Shaarj’s effect will not trigger battlecry minions, so banish all thoughts of him summoning C’Thun to rain ruin upon your enemies.

But how will decks survive until they can draw and play Y’Shaarj from the decks? Worry not, the old god brings in some help in the form of an epic 6-drop called Ancient Harbinger. The Harbinger’s body might have weak 4/6 stats but at the start of your turn, it puts a 10-Cost minion from your deck to your hand, significantly speeding up the process of finding Y’Shaarj. Or, any other Old God for that matter.

Two more cards were also revealed earlier today. Cabalist’s Tome is a 5-mana Mage spell that “cycles” itself for 3 random Mage spells that go straight into your hand.  Skeram Cultist, on the other hand, is a 6-drop with 7/6 stats that gives the so very familiar +2/+2 buff to C’Thun that we’ve seen on other minions like [card]Beckoner of Evil[/card] and [card]C'Thun's Servant[/card], for example.
