SK’s Freakeh and GamersOrigins’ TheFishou are among those who join the player list of the prestigious tournament.
After more than five hours of heated Hearthstone, the list of names to attend the $25,000 PGL Tavern Tales Spring event at the end of February grew even further. The stacked bracket saw the appearance – and fall – of many a notable contender, including AKAWonder, Spo, Vortex, Pavel, Ekop, Faramir, Rdu and Hanniballz2.
Ultimately, the majority of the qualifier players are of lesser known stature, so Tavern Tales could be their break-out performance. Still, a couple of veterans made it through the four rounds of the single elimination bracket, headlined by SK’s Jesper “Freakeh” Eriksson and GamersOrigins’ Thomas “Thefishou” Guedj. The list household names that will attend the main event at the end of the month thus now includes:
