Decklist spotlight: Orange’s winning decks from DreamHack Leipzig

On Saturday, Jon “Orange” Westberg departed from Germany with his third LAN title in his career. Here’s the deck line-up he used this time.

Hunter, Paladin, Rogue and Warrior were the classes of choice for Orange at DH Leipzig, not a surprising line-up especially considering the Swede’s love for Oil and Patron builds. With the format being Last Hero Standing, viewers also saw just how skilled in executing his line-up Orange actually is.

His Hunter and Rogue shined in the playoffs. The hybrid build 3-0’d former team-mate Sebastian “Xixo” Bentert and won the deciding game against Tugay “MrYagut” Evsan in the semi finals. The Oil Rogue, on the other hand, was the star of the grand finals as it blanked another Valeera expert in Jan “SuperJJ” Janssen.

The Patron Warrior and Secrets Paladin also played an important role. Garrosh won the opening two games against MrYagut, while Uther helped Orange recover from a 0-2 deficit in his group stage match against poker start Georg “PusteBlume” Danzer, setting Orange on his undefeated path to the trophy.
