The famous YouTuber and streamer gives his take on what an [card]Unearthed Raptor[/card] focused Rogue would look like.
[card]Unearthed Raptor[/card] was praised by many to be one of the strongest cards in the set. Able to copy powerful effects of legendaries like [card]Sylvanas Windrunner[/card] or [card]Sneeds Old Shredder[/card] or even basic cards like [card]Nerubian Egg[/card] or [card]Haunted Creeper[/card], Rogue’s new toy is attractive, to say the least.
Hailed as the card that can create a second viable Rogue archetype, the Raptor is indeed on its way to do so. In his latest video, Kripparrian presents his take on a minion-based deck that can easily be labeled “Rogue Zoo”. It’s extremely minion-heavy with just two spells in [card]Backstab[/card] and lots of value deathrattle minions which can serve as Raptor targets. The deck plays very much like a standard midrange deck, where it takes board control through incremental advantages and favorable trades.
Deck’s lack of spells or charge minions is one of its biggest weaknesses, however. There’s no reach whatsoever, meaning there will never be surprise damage. All the threats will be on the board, at all times.
