Archon's team owner and host of the Pinnacle tournaments Jason "Amaz" Chan announced the third iteration of the popular tournament series, which will be hosted on February 24th - 26th 11 am EST.
This time the invited players include Kolento, Massan, Xixo, Gaara and Dog who will compete for the prizepool of $5000 with three qualifiers in the usual Best-of 5, 1 Coup format, that Amaz established in the previous tournaments of this series.
While the previous tournament, the Pinnacle 2, asked high level players to send in applications, the third tournament will invite 16 players out of this very application pool to participate in the qualifier tournament, 15 of which we know at this time.
Players in the qualifier will include Trump, Lothar, Kitkatz, Faramir, DeerNadia and more, competing for one of the three spots in the main tournament. Just like the main tournament, the qualifier will also be played in the Best-of 5, 1 Coup format.
After Firebat & Strifecro, the winner of the previous tournaments, who will be the next in line to win The Pinnacle? Looking at the players participating we can expect some high level Hearthstone to happen, so everyone interested in watching should tune in to twitch.tv/amazhs on February 24th - 26th.
