Team Liquid add their second official player as they sign Ukrainian start Yevhenii "Neirea" Shumilin. Known for his VGVN #3 silver medal, Neirea will play alongside Savjz in the Liquid jersey.
Originally part of team Innovation, Neirea became known as a top ladder player, even finishing as a top seed coming into the BlizzCon European qualifier. Neirea's first tournament break-out was during VGVN #3 where Shumilin went against Janne "Savjz" Mikkonen, losing the grand final 2-4 but making a name for himself.
Following the official disbandment of Innovation earlier this month, Neirea became one of the hot free agents on the competitive Hearthstone market. Although he could be seen as part of the "Liquid and Friends" roster for the Chinese NEL, the Ukranian wasn't an official member of any team until now.
In an official announcement, LiquidHearth welcomed Neirea to their Hearthstone family. With their founding member Jason "Amaz" Chan recently departing to form his own team and leaving Savjz as the sole member of Liquid, Neirea comes in as the much needed fresh blood to the roster.
