Minh-Duc "Pipoanhat" Pham took the budget GosuCup crown last night, defeating compatriot Nguyen "Noraneko" Anh 3-1 in an all-Vietnam grand final.
Pipoanhat had a tough trip to the first place, most of his matches going to full three or five games. The Vietnamese had to plough through a large variety of opponents, coming from all corners of the SEA region, including Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and his own country Vietnam.
Apart from winning the precious 50 Dota 2 keys, Pipoanhat also earns a spot in the $500 grand final in February as he joins Dennisgosu, Alexieishere and Ferdzm as the first Vietnamese in the final 16.
