Gaara, Amaz, Ek0p and Firebat are HearthStats League's final four

The inaugural HearthStats League is three matches away from its finale as it is down to the last four players. In clases between the European and North American servers, Gaara faces Amaz and Ek0p plays Firebat starting at 02:00 CET tonight.

Half of the semi finalists had quite the rough trip to the top four. Liquid's Amaz barely escaped Group A in second place, winning the tiebreaker betwen him, Massan and Thijs by 2-0'ing both. He then had to come back from a one-game deficit against Cloud 9 captain Gnimsh who had topped Group D the day before and will now be playing DreamHack Bucharest and Prismata Cup champion Gaara.

Gaara himself originally shouldn't have been in the playoffs. Unable to show for his Group B matches, the Tempo Storm player was scratched off the list until Kolento also declared he'll be missing his games in Group C. With the agreement of Group C's players, Gaara was moved there and ended up snatching the top seed in the group, beating fellow German player Ek0p with just one map difference. He then showed solid performance against DKMR's Kisstafer, sending him out of the tournament on the back of a 3-1 series.

Out of the four, Firebat was the only one showing a truly dominant performance. The Copenhagen Wolves member 3-0'd Group A with a map score of 6-2 and followed it up with a 3-1 against TPS captain Reynad in the quarter finals. Firebat will now be playing Cloud 9's Ek0p, the latter defeating former team-mate Savjz in the round of 8, showing stellar plays on Priest and Paladin.
