On August 8-10, eight players will get together and compete for $2,500 while testing the new Naxxramas meta. The tournament will feature eight invites from Europe and North America as well as a open qualifier tournament.
The tournament is the result of a partnership between LiquidHearth, One Nation of Gamers and Video Game Voters who've extended invites to some of the most prolific Hearthstone players, welcoming them to a three-day competition next weekend. These players are Amaz, Reynad, Forsen, Savjz, Kolento and Realz and they will be joined by two more open qualifier winners.
Said qualifiers will be ran by LiquidHearth who are pulling their LHOpen tournament out of retirement. LHOpen #2 will feature a standard single elimination Bo3 bracket with Bo5 for semi and grand finals and the last two surviving players will move to the main event and battle the invited powerhouses.
There are still no details about the format of the main event. Known are only the casting duo of Gnimsh and Frodan, the prize pool of $2,500 with $1,000 first place prize, and the dates the event will air - August 8-10.
