UPDATE: A link in Twitch.tv chat reveals that to be the playoffs bracket. We're trying to confirm that as its format (top 32 single elimination) contradicts to what was previously announced (swiss into top 16 cut off).

Just a day after IEM Shenzhen crowned its champion, another big brand tournament is about to start - DreamHack Valencia with its €3,000 prize pool.

Ever since it was first announced in early July, very little has been known about DreamHack Valencia. What the announcement post revealed was the format (swiss into top 16 cut-off), the number of players (128) and the size of the prize purse - €3,000.

Since then, however, details about the tournament has been scarce. When the first day of the tournament - July 17th - came, Hearthstone fans just did not know what was happening at the biggest event this weekend. No information whether or not the swiss rounds have been played was given or what's happening in Valencia altogether.

Last night and today, we got some bits of information which shed more light on the tournament. The main stream for the event - the Spanish Hearthstone channel for DreamHack - gives the start time of day two: 12:00 CET. Additionally, a post made by DreamHack yesterday reveals seeds for sixteen of the participants, who can only be assumed to be the winners of the top 16 cut off:

Seed 1:

Spain Thalai
Germany Ek0p
Poland Lothar
France Torlk
Germany Gaara
Spain Doky
Iceland Kaldi
Portugal Ignite

Seed 2:

France Bestmarmotte
Netherlands Vortex
Spain Zetpro
Spain Evangelion

Seed 3:

Spain Jac0b0
Spain Kostron
Spain Blacklotus
Spain The Fallen

Names like Ek0p, Lothar, Gaara, Ignite and Kaldi certainly give something to look forward to but there is still vital information missing anywhere. The pairings for the brackets have not been set and neither is the prize pool distribution. Detailed schedule breakdown is also lacking but we'll try to keep you up to date with all the matches as quick as possible. Stay tuned to our front page matchticker and our DreamHack Valencia coverage hub for all things DH Valencia.

Note: We've reached out to DreamHack officials as well as several of the listed players in attempt to obtain more information. The details listed in the article might not be 100% correct.
