After a rocky day one, IEM Shenzhen will be resuming soon with some playoffs action, following the eight best players from yesterday and this morning.

After a slew of technical difficulties on day one, day two at IEM Shenzhen started with the last matches of Group C and the entire Group D, unfortunately all played off stream. The Hearthstone audience was updated through a reddit report by Frodan who told the tale of MaSsan coming through as second in Group C after a rematch against Dongzhong that qualified him for the playoffs.

In Group D, Amaz enjoyed a smooth ride as a no-show in his first match and a 2-0 against Chinese player RNG made him eligible for a top eight spot. Amaz was shortly followed by Taiwanese player Azeri who ousted RNG 2-0 in the decider.

These results alongside those from day one form a Hong Kong dominated bracket with the country having all of its three representatives move on - Amaz, Jeanno and Jackychan, the former two being the winners of the respective groups. Furthermore, while many of the playoffs pairings are a classic David versus Goliath story, one particular match is about to draw viewership's attention and this is Amaz versus MasSan in the third quarter final, both players enjoying sizeable fanbase and good reputation.

The quarter finals will be brought on the main IEM Shenzhen following the last StarCraft 2 matches for the day.
