The WCG Nordic administration announces in a press release that the Swedish television channel ZTV will be doing a full-scale production of the Norwegian and Swedish offline WCG finals this weekend.
The event will start at 10:30 on Saturday September 23 and will end on Sunday the following day at around 20:00.
The CEO of ZTV, Caroline Karlsson says that she finds it weird that gaming in Sweden hasn't got that much attention in general media considering the fact that Sweden is one of the leadnig nations. She also points out that ZTV will try to change that. Johan Lidén, previously show host for the program 1337 at BIGtv, will lead the program together with the former Counter-Strike programer Johan "Vesslan" Ryman.
Any further information about the TV production has not been announced yet, but are soon to come.
