FBL: Excello scores their first win

After a devastating start in the league with only four game wins after two playdays, Excello now can put '1' in their win/loss record.

White-Ra secured Excello's first win in the FragBet League.
After a tough start in the FragBet League Season 2, Excello finally managed to score a win. This time they went up against the German-based team Deutschlands Kranke Horde, and they surely wanted revenge. The last two weeks' matches both ended in a 2-4 loss. First with eXeCuToR playing very good for Los Reyes Del Mambo, taking out White-Ra, Fosken and Legend. Ex could eventually stop the Spanish players winning spree, but then Odin stepped up and turned out the lights for Excello. In the second game Hullah made an all-kill on the Excello team. This time, we recognized the old Excello.

Starting with the Chinese progamer Pj going up against Goody, it was over after a while and 1-0 was a fact. However then GhosT who had a history in the team actually took down Pj, making it a tie. However then the Ukrainian Protoss player White-Ra showed what he was made of and took down the rest of the German team. GhosT - swoosh, Gentleman - bang bang, and then the Swiss player wAY who we haven't seen playing for DkH for a long time. Excello fans, send your flowers and champagne to White-Ra, the man of the hour.

GosuGamers caught up with Excello's manager Bartar to ask about the shabby start and White-Ra's performance.

You scored your first win in the FragBet League Season 2. Why didn't it come sooner?
- Our first two playdays were versus really strong teams and a lose wasn't unexpected. We were in a period of making changes and improvements and I'm really happy that our new add ons Lx, Pj and Ex showed for all matches although they were unable to secure the wins. As time passes team will get together more and the new players will perform better.

White-Ra won three important games in this match against DkH. Did you expect to win versus DkH this easily?
You can never expect easy wins in this high level of competition. DkH hosts players that can beat anyone but our lineup of Pj/White-Ra/Strelok/Lx made me feel more comfortable. I also knew that Suncow would be missing. However Ghost could pause a serious threat and im glad that Ra defeated him in a close game. Alex was underperforming the past playdays and he was really motivated to win.
