Curse Academy takes the gold in ALCS

After 10 long weeks, a first place winner is finally crowned in the Amateur LCS, earning $2,500 as well as gear and apparel.

Though the Mexican team Lyon Gaming had a strong run up until the semi-finals, they were elimiinated by one of Curse's teams, Team LoLpro.  meanwhile, on the other side of the bracket, Curse Academy maaged to take out Team Tempest in a 2-0.  Unfortunately, due to their failure in the promotion series, the original first place team in the groups of Quantic Gaming could not attend the playoffs.

The grand finals was a showdown between the two affiliated Curse teams, Curse Academy and Team LoLPro.  While Team LoLPro is a mixture of old talent and Curse Academy is a conoction of old talent and fresh blood, LoLPro were not performing hot.  The first game was somewhat of a stomp and Curse Academy were not slowing down.

The results would continue into game 2 and game 3, where Curse Academy shockingly took down LoLPro 3 games in a row, making it a 3-0 complete washout.  Curse Academy ended up taking first place and ending the first Amateur LCS circuit.
