The Electronic Sports World Cup has revealed the date and location for the 2011 edition. On October 21-25 at Paris Games Week in Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, the organization will house the 6.000 m² floor with fierce international competition.
Last year had WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne and DotA as the only RTS disciples. The only games that have been presented to be in the 2011 event Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source, FIFA 2011 and TrackMania Nations Forever.
On March 24, ESWC announced that "a new release will announce the official ESWC 2011 RTS games". It remains to be seen if they decide to pick up WarCraft 3, StarCraft 2 or any of the AoE eSport games DotA, Heroes of Newerth, Bloodline Champions or League of Legends.
Its main competitor for being titled the "world championship" or "Olympics" of eSport - World Cyber Games - decided to add both StarCraft 2, WarCraft 3 and League of Legends.
