SearchEHOME wins ESWC

ESWC has finally come to an end with EHOME taking home with a flawless victory, losing none of their games at all.EHOME who topped the GosuGamer's poll as to who will win ESWC have just done that. The most impressive part of their win is their sheer dominance of the tournament, EHOME has not lost a single match throughout the competition.
In day three, MYM meet Nirvana.GiGa.int in the first match of the day to determine who will advance in the losers bracket. MYM quickly defeated Nirvana.GiGa.int leaving the American team with a fourth place finish. Shortly after, it was the game between DTS and EHOME to determine who will have the one game advantage from the losers bracket. While DTS put on a good fight, they quickly fell to EHOME, sending them to the losers bracket finals to face the Danes.
DTS bounced backed from their defeat to EHOME by defeating MYM allowing them to face EHOME once again to get their revenge. However that was not possible as the Chinese team proved they are the best in the world and claiming the first place prize money of 14,000 USD by defeating the Russians in under 40 minutes.

| I enjoyed this tournament alot. Overall it felt asif the rankings afterwards should be EHOME superiourly best DTS MYM - Not close to EHOME, but good Nirvana.INT - I think the teamlevel wasnt enough, playerwise perhaps they are as strong, but i have to put em under DTS and MYM Online Kingdom - Never a contender for this win, i really hoped for them but wasnt possible. LOST AEON Nirvana.my - Worst of the topranked teams Rest nothing special, i mean compared to the other teams. There was alot of good players in this tournamet so no offens to them! About the ASIAvsEUROPE this sucks, since outta top4 there is only one asian team, but this team superiour. I would have needed one more asian team there to settle the old discussion =) |

| hmm, dont wanna be a dick but i am gonna say it anyway. They call themselfs PRO? after ESWC...there is only one PRO team and thats EHOME (talking about ESWC 2010 teams)..they just raped every other team on this event like np (TEG actually managed to take the wind out of their sails for a while, but they were only postponing the unavoidable) And to be honest, i am kinda disappointed about the performance of the teams taht had to face EHOME. Before the event started...i tought, if they wanna beat them, they have to come up with some unexpected and at the same time perfect strategy which can bring them down, but that didnt happen(at least, i didnt see it) thats the common knowledge of war, right? If you wanna beat strongest enemy, you cant play by their rules, you have to make your own rules and force them to play according to these rules and crush them on your own field. I was hoping for some realy original strategy which is not based on heroes abilities, bcoz when you see the lineup after the picking phase, you can prety much see what you are gonna deal with. I am talking about items (the ability items). I mean, there are some items that can really be useful in team fights, like force staff, euls, orchid... As for the finals... i really wanted to see MYM vs EHOME since DTS had 2 chances to defeat them and it was a disaster...so i am gonna use the same words that NS used when they defeated TeamHome in qualification ---> "Go play pub" So theres nothing else to add than WP EHOME..you guys really deserve it, you proved that you are the best. | I really hope from this we don't see allot of team's quitting, if u listened into the shout-cast's, provided by me, Toby, Mark and Hitomi I thank you guys ESWC was a fantastic event, and one where the Dota community realised the gap in level between China and the World, with SMM fast approaching and ACG I only hope that the world can recover in time and somehow find the time to practice and get themselves up to speed with china because otherwise its going to get a whole lot worse All in All great performances by EHOME making profesional teams look like pub stomps WP EHOME and congratulations |
