The eighth Qcup tournament ended in a win for Mondragon, but when the dust settled the name on everybody's lips was pALLo. Why? Map hack.
"After further analysis of the situation last Wednesday, when pAllo was accused of hacking,we have, together with WGTour, concluded and confirmed that pALLo was cheating in the 9th round of Qcup. And for that, we feel really sad." So are words by the Qcup administration. They also write that they do not tolerate cheating, so pALLo will be instantly banned from Qcup.
The rules for Qcup says that a a team has the responsibility of their players' behavior in the league, and that teams caught cheating will be instantly removed from Qcup. However due to the cooperation of Los Reyes Del Mambo, pALLo's former team, the team itself won't be removed from the league.
For this pALLo will be lifetime-banned from the league, and the points he gained for LRM in the eighth round will be removed. Los Reyes Del Mambo will also receive a slight punishment, by losing one point.
MeetYourMakers and DkH.Keyweb will therefore play a regulation match to determine which team will get the three points now that Los Reyes Del Mambo was stripped of pALLo's points.
pALLo has had a history of being banned in other leagues due to cheating. WGTour has yet not made a decision on pALLo's future, but according to Qcup he may face a life-time ban.
