PGL Open Bucharest will be one of the Valve Minors scheduled to take place in October featuring LGD Gaming, Evil Geniuses and $300,000 up for grabs.
The second Minor event of the year will be held in Bucharest, Romania starting October 19th and span the course of four days. Only two teams have been invited; LGD Gaming and Evil Geniuses - two of Dota's most prominent teams. Joining them will be six more teams who will have all earned their spots after a no doubt fierce battle in the regional qualifiers.
The open qualifiers are now open for registration for five of the six regions - information regarding China to be hosted by Perfect World will be forthcoming.

Event organizers have confirmed that two teams are expected to advance from the open to regional qualifiers and that six teams will be invited for each of the regions. Only one will gain access to the main event.
Regional qualifiers are expected to take place soon after the conclusion of the open qualifiers. Dates and teams will be announced in the next week or so.
PGL Open Bucharest will take place three days after the first minor takes place in Kiev - SL i-League Invitational Season 3 and will end three days before the first Major event of the year kicks off in Hamburg, Germany with ESL. PGL has hosted the Manila Major, Boston Major, Kiev Major and partnered with Valve for The International 2017.
