All the matches scheduled for the third day in group A have ended and it’s safe to say that Invictus Gaming and Natus Vincere will start the main event from lower bracket.
Having to play the first and the last series of the day in group A, IG end up losing both of them. After they got completely stomped by Cloud 9 in an extremely one sided series they had to face a crazy Korean playstyle versus MvP Phoenix. And although they managed to resist 70 minutes in the first game of the sries,in which Divine Rapiers were to be bought by the Koreans in order to close the hostilities, IG lost the game two in less than 30 minutes.
Na’Vi on the other hand, managed to score one point due to an amazing Queen of Pain played by Dendi in the first game of the series vs Fnatic but they lost the second one after an intense Naga Siren split push strategy that worked well, but in the end it was Fnatic who outmaneuvered the three times TI finalists.
Immediately after Na’Vi had to play versus LGD Gaming, a series that they lost entirely and with that they have no chance to make a comeback as they are left with only one series to be played tomorrow, in which, ironically or not, they will face Invictus Gaming.
