Despite all the drama and controversy, it seems that the new LGD lineup has been made official. Zhang 'xiao8' Ning and Lu 'Maybe' Yao will be the newest additions to the team, and the renovated roster will be coached by Tong 'Mikasa' Junjie.
All's well that ends well for LGD, as they have finally confirmed the newest members of their DotA2 division after a long month of rumours and controversy. With NewBee finally agreeing to cut his strings, Zhang 'xiao8' Ning is back to his former club and he is ready to take the role of the captain once again. Besides xiao8, LGD acquired another child of theirs from CDEC, Lu 'Maybe' Yao, who will be accompanied by his coach Tong 'Mikasa' Junjie.
While we now know the complete roster of LGD, there is still some uncertainty regarding the roles of the players. While it is safe to say that both Liu 'Sylar' Jiajun and Lei 'MMY' Zengrong will get to keep their positions, the rest of the members may have to change their playstyle to adapt to the new lineup. The most probable scenario, according to the latest rumours, is that Yao and xiao8 return to offlane and support respectively, allowing Maybe to be the team's solo-mid player like in CDEC. What is certain is that Mikasa will be the team's coach, and he will stand-in for any missing players in official matches.
