Mihawk and Iwo leave Not Today

The Peruvian squad Not Today will undergo massive roster changes, as two of their players have decided to leave the team for their own personal reasons. Both Mihawk and Iwo will seek a new home to continue their careers, leaving NoT with three players.

Not Today, one of the most successful teams in the history of South American DotA2, is about to change for good. Iwo 'Iwo' Bejar and Leonardo 'miHawk' Astete just announced their departure from the Peruvian squad, each for their own personal reasons. With the loss of their offlane and carry players, the NoT roster now includes only three members, and it is unknown whether they will disband or find replacements.

Statement by miHawk :

Well as you all know I don’t have a very active fanpage since I’m not an avid poster.
The motive of this post is to communicate my own and Not Today followers that from now on I will stop being a part of the team for personal motives and to continue with a project that it’s already on the rails. I wish the best luck and success to my ex-teammates, I had a great time at their side during the time I was part of the squad and I know very well of what they are capable of.

Statement by Iwo :

The main motive of this post is to communicate you that I’ve decided to step aside from the team Not Today for some motives, most of them personal. I also want to tell you that I’m not retiring from Dota because I have a new project in which I’m working and that I will announce soon when everything is ready.
I want to thank everyone that have been following and supporting me in any way, be it because we share a good friendship or may be because you like my playstyle. I’ve have some pretty exciting moments in Dota 2 such as when we got top4 in TI 4’s qualifiers last year with team uG or when we qualified to The Summit 2 with NoT.
Thanks again and I hope to keep receiving your support coz I will be around on Dota 2 for a while longer.

The departure of the two players is a massive blow for Peruvian DotA, as Not Today was one of the two strongest Peruvian candidates for an invitation to the qualifiers of The International 5, the other being Union Gaming. With less than three months remaining until the qualifiers, it may not be possible for Freddy 'SmAsH' Sina and his buddies to create strong enough team to draw Valve's attention. It should also be noted that the recent accusations of intentional pausing against uG may also jeopardize their own participation, and possibly leave Peru without a representative in the regional qualifiers.

Not Today current roster :

Peru Ricardo 'mstco' Roman
Peru Freddy 'SmAsh' Sina
Peru Alex 'Masoku' Davila Matallana
