Hao set to retire after TI5

In light of the ongoing ECL tournament, Newbee's Hao has been interviewed and has stated that he plans to retire following the conclusion of The International 2015.

Newbee has just reached the grand finals of the ongoing ECL tournament, but before their victory over LGD-Gaming, carry player Hao was interviewed about his career and xiao8. In the video interview, Hao was asked regarding the end of his career. Hao has previously already mentioned that he plans to retire after TI5 and has emphasized his desire once more. "I am 95% sure about retiring post TI5." says Hao, while turning down any rumors about him turning into a caster for now, as he doesn't "like to cast games. It depends on which direction the club will take. If they need me after my retirement, I will remain with the club to offer my service for the good of eSports."

Hao was also asked regarding's xiao8 return to the competitive scene in 2015 and the likelihood of the former captain to join TI2 champions Invictus Gaming. "It's unlikely, but not impossible." says Hao. The carry player admits not knowing "what type of arrangement he [xiao8] made with the club [NewBee]. But I am not sure which team he'll be going to." Xiao8 has only recently stated that he is set to return in 2015 and that his contract is in fact set to expire by the end of this year, thus giving him the freedom to join a new team.
