i-League season 2: Eight lan finals participants confirmed ft. Vici Gaming

The qualifiers have all concluded and the replacements for the teams that have pulled out also have been named for i-League Season 2. Thus the seven teams that will be joining defending champions Vici Gaming in the lan finals have been decided.

As the i-League season 2 lan event draws closer, the final eight teams that will be participating in it have been confirmed; they have been decided by five qualifiers that took place over the last two months. Also, following the withdrawal of both Cloud9 and Hellraisers from the tournament, their replacements have been found; Cloud9 were replaced by the winner of the runner-up match for the professional Chinese qualifiers, Hellraisers on the other hand were replaced by the Swedish team Lajons. The final line-up makes for an interesting mix of proven and experienced teams with newer teams who have yet to prove themselves.

China Vici Gaming (Direct Invite, defending champions)
China Invictus Gaming (Cloud9's replacement)
China LGD (Winner of professional Chinese qualifier)
China Speed Gaming (Winner of professional Chinese qualifier)
China Big God (Winner of semi-pro Chinese qualifiers)
Korea MVP.Pheonix (Winner of SEA qualifiers)
Russia Virtus.Pro (Winner of EU qualifiers)
Sweden Lajons (Hell Raisers's replacement)

These eight teams will battle it out in Shanghai, China at the i-League lan event for their stake in the base prize pool of $100,000. The playoffs will take place from the 1st of Janurary till the 6th of January, after that the finals will be played on the 10th of January.
