Johnny leaves Arrow Gaming

The Arrow Gaming organization decided to continue their DotA2 journey without Johnny 'JoHnNy' Lee. The Malaysian squad is now left with four players, and they will be playing with a stand-in member until they find a suitable replacement for JoHnNy.

Arrow Gaming was the second SEA team to reach the TI4 groupstage, after their comfortable first-place finish in the SEA Qualifiers. However, their performance was far from ideal - while they did grab some victories unlike their compatriots MUFC in 2013, their 2-13 record disappointed their significant fanbase. Thus, the organization decided it was time for changes in the roster, beginning with the departure of Johnny 'JoHnNy' Lee.

Lee joined the Arrow Gaming squad in March 2014 after his departure from the Chinese team RaTtLeSnAkE. With JoHnNy, the team managed to win over $5000 in total cash prizes in April, May and June, a sum quite large for the region. Of course, their most important achievement was their TI4 invitation after their victories in the SEA Qualifiers, leaving SEA veterans like Orange, Scythe and MiTH.Trust out of the competition.

A replacement for JoHnNy is expected to be announced soon. As for now, the team will have to proceed with a stand-in player in the tournaments they have already joined. Arrow Gaming's next appearance is scheduled for August 8th, at 14:30 CEST against Scythe.
