With each team having played six or seven matches in total, Liquid, iG and ViCi Gaming are currently leading the race of the TI4 groupstage. On the other hand, Newbee is currently on a four-game loss streak, while Arrow remains without a victory.
We have already received a large dose of good DotA2 halfway through the second day of The International 4 groupstage. All the teams have played at least six games in total, and the final standings are already starting to form. However, the participants still have a long way to go before they can feel secure about their progress in the tournament.
Much like yesterday, Team Liquid continued their impressive performance, with victories against Empire and Fnatic. Invictus Gaming showed dominance against Evil Geniuses and Arrow, while ViCi Gaming had some very good games against NaVi.NA and LGD. Titan and Natus Vincere also look quite strong with a gamescore of 5-2 and 4-2 respectively, followed by EG, DK and C9 with 4-3. The day has been going horribly for Newbee, going from 3-0 to 3-4 in four consecutive matches. The things are not going very well for Mouz and Arrow either, with Mousesports having won only one match against C9, and Arrow still being unable to emerge victorious from a match. While nothing is over yet, it already seems very difficult for the Malaysians to survive the groupstage.
