Cloud9 and their buddy DeMoN have managed to pull a 2-0 victory against EG, securing a cozy spot in the Grand Final of Monster Invitational. EG will have to face Team Liquid tomorrow in the Losers Bracket final.
Another day, another victory for Cloud9, as they manage to crush Evil Geniuses to guarantee themselves a spot in the grand final. Using Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho as a substitute for Pittner 'bOne7' Armand, Cloud9 managed to take two comfortable victories, with EG showing some problems handling the global presence of pieliedie and Aui_2000 during the earlier stages of the game. The Geniuses managed to put a good fight during the second game, taking DeMoN down two times during the laning phase, but the successful roaming by SingSing and pieliedie helped Cloud9 build an overwhelming gold lead.
The other game of the day was between Liquid and eHug, with Liquid managing to stand their ground despite eHug's resistance. With their 2-0 victory, Liquid stay alive in the battle for the Grand Final, and will have to face Evil Geniuses tomorrow in the Losers Bracket final. Their match will take place at 19:00 CET, followed by the final at 22:00 CET.
