The grand final, played this Tuesday, saw the Romanians go up against NEXT from Kazakhstan in a best of three final.
The first game was a very one-sided story, with PHG winning with 39-7, ending the game at the 36 minute mark with a team wipe. With a hero composition of Lich, Tidehunter, Puck, Storm Spirit and Riki, the Romanian team dominated the Dire side that had Windrunner, Venomancer, Earthshaker, Weaver and Witch Doctor.
The second game saw Nighstalker, Venomancer, Beastmaster, Witch Doctor and Mirana from PHG going up against Windrunner, Tidehunter, Slardar, Vengeful Spirit and Shadow Shaman from NEXT. NEXT had trouble coping with Nightstalker, and suffered from some poor positioning in the very first night. With better map control and successful team fights, PHG made sure to win the final game with a 43-29 score.
Poor Happy Guys only dropped one game in the entire tournament, losing to the third-place finishers mTw.
