Raven: Mondragon our most stable player

[s]interview[/s]

Raven ranks Mondragon as the best player in Team GosuGamers. He also praise Testie, Ex and White-Ra. He thinks that not having Koreans makes little difference.
- I think all rosters are pretty balanced and you can't say who is going to win it.

Raven, one of the Team GosuGamers players.

Raven has been in the news quite a lot lately, and after replacing SunCow in the Sandlot, he got even more attention. Being worth only 200 minerals, many thought that giving that small amount of the Polish Terran player was a bargain. When GosuGamers asked if he thought any player was underrated, he does not mention himself - he talks of the Koreans.
- Top non Koreans were overrated compared to Korean players but I think it's just more attention about Sandlot tournament in non-Korean community so most of people who voted had no idea who those Koreans were and how good they are compared to the other tourney participants, says Raven. He also says it affected the drafting badly as most of the teams choosing the 'cheap Koreans' first.

His results in WCG Germany confirm that so in my opinion he is most stable player representing GG.net right now

- Raven about Mondragon
The only team without a Korean is as known before team GosuGamers. Testie said earlier that two Koreans should have been added and it would be a winning team. Raven does not really agree.
- Compared to other rosters and having in mind it is be a five individual matches system I'd say - not really. Of course there are a lot of huge names and very skilled Korean gamers we will have to win against, but I think all rosters are pretty balanced and you can't say who is going to win it.

Sees Mondragon as GG.net's strongest player

Raven mentions Testie, White-Ra and Ex as very experienced players, and that Suker is worth a lot more than the price GosuGamers had to pay for him. However the player Raven rates as the strongest is Mondragon.
- Mondragon is in really good shape and his results in WCG Germany confirm that so in my opinion he is most stable player representing GG.net right now, says Raven. When asked about Darki and Pomi he can't really comment about their performance, and that he would never rate himself.

Were there any players in the Sandlot list you missed?
- SunCow for sure who I had to replace. From my compatriots I would say Blackman and Slider were both able to do very well in here and I'm sad they weren't picked, adds Raven. He also mentions the lack of Androide and a bunch of skilled players from South America.
- And of course for even better Koreans and so on. I think it is hard to get the 64 best players from all the countries. Blizzard still made really nice list here.

In the community forums, many have said that PGR21 has the best lineup, but the opinions varies a lot. Raven has no direct answer to what team is the strongest or weakest.
- It is a very hard question because all the teams look pretty balanced indeed. And I believe there will be a lot of upsets coming especially from the underrated players, says Raven. He explains that it's low pressure from a community can motivate you to prove yourself and be able to perform better.
- I expect a lot of good matches and I think only time can show which team will win. There is no clear favourite yet, that's for sure.

Played Kashu in a F2F recently

We saw him play in a Face2Face showmatch recently against the Hungarian player Kashu from MicroGamerZ. The match ended 5-0 for Raven, showing his strength in Terran versus Zerg. For more information go » here.
