Baschi is one of the most important people in the competitive WarCraft 3 scene. He is the head administrator of the most prestigous league WarCraft 3 Clanleague, and is a well respected profile in the community. Recently, he was intervired by MeetYourMakers.

Sebastian Weishaar is a 22-year-old student living in Cologne very dedicated to his hobby. Apart from studying, he is working for and with the Electronic Sports League (ESL) as a part time job. At ESL, he is the person in charge of the WarCraft 3 Clanleague, and deals with basically everything important to the league. When asked on how it was created, Baschi tells a pretty funny story. He tells that he and his friend started the legendary Go4WC3 tournament one week, and it turned to be a huge success. After the success, they felt that they wanted a team league of the same sort of caliber. "I never ever expected it become what is is these days back then" he adds.

"Of course I'm somewhat proud"

Baschi (picture) is a man with visions, and you could think that of what WC3L stands for today, with the quality and the great competiton, you would think he was satisfied with his doings. In this interview he says that there are a lot of things that can be improved. "I'm always aiming for improvements and I don't think I will ever be satisfied wtih everything completely, which I guess is how it has to be, if you want to improve and move further."

No competition for the league so far

nOnAmE, the interviewer, brings up the fact that there hasn't been much competition to WC3L so far, which Baschi finds as a negative thing. He says that competition is always good to have, because both sides can learn from eachother and improve. He adds further down that he would have liked to the Master Clan League (MCL) back in action, or something similar, in order to "give the lower teams a place to prove themselves on a regular basis."

Basci about "merc-teams"

The interview is very deep-going, and brings up almost all the questions and thoughts you might have on the WC3L, plus a lot more about Baschi himself. They talk about "merc-teams" and what Baschi thinks about the subject. Lag, and the newfound way of moving past the problem, and a lot more.
