Much to viewers' surprise, German Protoss and tournament underdog Tobias "ShoWTime" Sieber came first in a group with StarCraft veterans Targa, San and Bly. Known for his second place finish at ESET UK Masters 2013 in late June, ShoWTime will be making his first trip ever to Europe premier league and will get the chance to compete for the $100,000 of prize pool in season three.

It was Norwegian Zerg Targa that came second after overtaking Azubu's Protoss San in three games in the deciding match of the group. Targa had already seen a strong start to his challenger league run by beating ForGG before falling 1-2 to ToD and now enjoys a successful conclusion by climbing up to premier, also for the first time ever.

Unlike Group A, Group B saw more or less expected results as Acer Zerg Nerchio topped the opposition with a flawless 2-0. Second to him finished Noname who after accepting the walkover against the retired Stephano and losing to Nerchio in the winners final, faced and defeated SortOf on zero to prevent the Zerg domination in the group.

Next on the Europe challenger schedule are groups C and D today at 18:00 CET. Line-ups and opening matches can be seen below.
