As the Shinhan Bank OnGameNet StarLeague is over, and the three champions and runner-ups are determined, time for the Shinhan Masters Tournament. The South Korean bank announced originally that they were hosting three StarLeagues and after that they would host a Masters tournament that would crown the supreme champion. The three champions Casy, NaDa and sAviOr are ready for the Masters Tournament, but to determine the fourth player a qualifier will be held.

The qualifier includes the runner-ups of the previous StarLeagues, meaning ChoJJa and AnyTime. As NaDa already qualified due to winning the second Shinhan Bank Starleague, his runner-up spot from the third StarLeague does not count. The rest of the players are the ones who accumulated the most points throughout the season. Those are IriS, ZergMan, GooDFriend, Midas, GoRush and YellOw[ArnC].
