With MYM Prime Defending 12's qualifiers ending soon, MYM has just released the groupings for the Group stage matches.| Groupings | |||

Each Group stage match will be played out in a best of two format, whereby a win will net the team three points, a draw one point and a loss zero points. The top two team with the highest score will then proceed to the playoffs.

| i am from the Admin team so let me clear the case on Group A & Group B.. we agreed collectively that Asian teams should be put together on this stage as we want to prevent lagness/delay issues & also scheduling issues.. having 8 Asian teams spreaded out in the early stage (example 1 each Group) will be counter productive as scheduling will be very hard & maybe more than half of them couldnt proceed mainly due to lagness/delay issues.. i believe the teams would agree too.. (i may be wrong though) but i do admit that i wouldve preferred if NV.cn & MCiTY swapped places.. however NV.cn couldnt commit their time yet & they may even FF so if that happens, the bracket will eventually be quite balanced (for Asians).. another thing is that there are too little Asian teams.. if more people registered, we could have more teams from Asia, more slots for Asian in the Group Stage & more Groups with Asian teams around.. if it was a Seeded without considering the Region of cause Asians will get more slots as quite alot of Asian top teams registered, but that will be unfair for those regions with much more teams/players.. there's a need to balance everything so it should be the best available option.. (at least there are more Asian teams in latter stages now as compared to previous tourneys) PS: i m Asian & i treat most of the teams as my friends so no reason for me to kick them out right? i personally believe it's the best for everyone too.. | The reason for keeping the asians in Group A & B is to avoid as much Asia vs America/EU as possible, due to delay and lagg issues. Atleast, that's my guess. |

| #23 Its best out of 2 so if each team get 1 win its a 1-1 so its a draw and nirvana are missing coz they didnt show up for their last game and they default loss |

| To avoid lag??? Ahaha!! after putting all asian in group A and B then whats next.. They will still encounter lagg because they will still meet european teams after this round. So better divide them now than later for it'll be more balance. Obviously, admin just want to avoid asian domination again. |
