Just a few weeks to go before ESWC kicks off comes a startling revelation from DDT's star player, Misery.In his latest blog entry, Misery spills the beans behind Blight Gaming which have been making fake promises to them. Misery talks about how the team has been tricked multiple times by Blackfog, CEO of Blight, to stay in the Blight organization. He also reveals that Blight have been trying to recruit them since November of 2009. Below is an extract from Misery's blog.
"Now just a little month ago he contacted us again and gave us an apology and kinda blamed his sponsors but also claimed he had gotten control over everything in the organization and that they could easily sponsor us for ESWC as well as SMM. I could write the whole story again, but it would just be entirely the same story as with before China. They failed to give us 1000$ for ESWC even though he told us plenty of times they were coming. He even sent us screenshots of his paypal with 1000$ sent to a unknown account as a desperate try to make us stay just a bit longer, which we actually did. It still was a hard decision for the team to believe in his words again and at that time we had no other opportunities. So unfortunately we believed in the best in human and didn't think he would perform such an act towards us again."

| whats the point in tricking a team with the money when its 100% sure you wont pay it. 1-2 month playing under a specific flag (in shitty online tournaments) doesnt make up for the (well deserved) bad reputation you will receive from this, does it ? well, finally another lier company detected. GL to DDT for future sponsorship and a big FUCK YOU to blight and this CEO. i so hope fidelity pays off on judgement day !  |

| #26 The main sponsor of WE is Pepsi. I wonder how Pepsi makes money anyway. Besides, the players surely must be very stupid to believe that such a company like Pepsi would give them any money.... The point is that if the players find prominent organisations to sponsor them, the teams will be funded and nobody will be cheated in such a way :) |

| Wow, didn't see that coming. I mean, it's not like they were warned or anything by US teams about the shadiness that is the Blight organization... Seriously, this could easily have been prevented had they taken note of Blight's record sponsoring other DotA clans. Now will people realize that Blight has a history of two-timing? |
