| I kinda wish more of the BIG names in DotA would tell S2 to remove their heads from their asses. So many busted carries in that game. I think the game can be great, but the devs are so terrible at their own game that it's gonna be a long road. If you want some examples of how the devs are so terrible just ask me. |

| HoN could be fun 2 play with friends, pubbing.. but it will never reach the competitive level of dota, nor will it be balanced enough to play competitively anytime soon. And the game mechanics still suck compare too war3. Gogo dota 4 life. |

| I think HoN is a nice game but it is a little not user friendly in-terms of needing a good graphic card to play at the best condition of this game. For people like me, who are poorer and does not really have the $$ to get a real good graphic card, will feel that Dota is far more better as its requirement is not high. Overall, it is a very good game but unfortunately i cant play it on my pc... sad =( |

| all u people bashing HoN "it's a rip-off of dota" - they talked it through with icefrog to make it this way, icefrog even made a statement that it is OK. Another reason for this - to make transition for DotA players easy. One of the downsides of DotA - it is community based game, which means that it can be financially supported by community only, while S2 can organise events themselves, and develop the game technically further. (The only ones making money from DotA for now are Blizzard and Garena - and they hardly did anything for the game) Biggest complaints about HoN actually is "its like DotA but it is not!", which is exactly their aim ;D S2 team has YEARS of experience in making team pvp games, i'm pretty sure they balance it all out in some time - remember how many years of development DotA has. They just took it in somewhat different way than DotA has, like for example LoL did but not so much. Their biggest mistake is that icefrog isnt on their team - all of u sound happy about stand alone DotA from icefrog. Good sides of DotA based games - community growth (if we take them combined), technical advancement, events organisation. The one and only downside of this is community split, but it will be evened out in time (best game will win) Companies making dota games - means recognition, and i think there are big chances that if not for HoN and LoL icefrog wouldnt be part of valve =) And honestly - playing DotA and HoN and LoL is FUN. Means they've all did their job. |
| #30 lol, man. It's 2010 and <100usd vga card can play this game flawless. I prefer DotA because HoN has too many strong Agi and Strength heroes, and design of some copy heroes from DotA look retard imo. |
| If S2's idea for the game is just to shamelessly *copy* DotA (with a few minor exceptions), then I really don't see a bright future for HoN. |

| I'm playing it every now and then with some old mates who went to HoN, but I still prefer DotA. It's more authentic and I simply the game I love since 2 years and no fucking copy |
| So much rage lol, HoN is a pretty fun game :P Not as balanced as DotA, some weird bugs still, but then again - It's beta. Icefrog did give his permission for this, and they have went their own way a bit with the new maps and heroes, and it has done great with the main-stream crowd. There are numerous improvements over the game engine, definately(the way the mini-map combines the best of both worlds for example <3). And have you even seen the spectator interface? It's amazing, really awesome for spectators (important for e-sports...) |

| I played a few games in HoN and i didn't get the feeling of fun like the one playing dota... HoN is just a copy of DotA with the same heroes with an other look... so i don't really care about HoN... i hope that icefrog and Valve will create a great game :) |
