Liquid`s Zerg TLO faced elimination in the second day of IEM New York as he scores two losses against HyuN and Zest, the former of which took the group 4-2.
Placed 20th in the WCS rankings and with no other premier events before the end of October that he can attend, it also means that TLO will be missing the WCS grand finals at Blizzcon (November 8-9). This comes as a disappointing news for Dario's fans who saw him enjoy a strong 2013 summer with a fifth place at WCS Europe Season 1, eighth place at DreamHack Summer and third palce at HomeStory Cup VII.
With TLO finishing last in Group A and HyuN reigning supreme, the fight for the second spot is between Life and Zest who already played each other in the opening game. As Life came out the victor in this series 2-1, the KT-trained Protoss will be looking to take vengeance and somehow overcome Life's outstanding 77% ZvP win-rate. The match will be played tomorrow at 16:30 CEST.
Currently on air is Group B of IEM New York where HerO, Naniwa, Hack and qxc will fight to determine who will be the second quarter finalist and also the second player to be eliminated. Both HerO and Naniwa are at the time of this article 1-0 in series and will face each other in the winners match.
