French CS:GO superstars Kenny "kennyS" Schrub and Richard "shox" Papillon have received invites to the HTC 2v2 Invitational.
G2 Esports representatives Kenny "kennyS" Schrub and Richard "shox" Papillon are the first duo to receive an invite to the HTC 2v2 Invitational. The French duo will be performing at the PGL Studio in Bucharest, Romania on May 13th-14th in an attempt to remind the world of their capabilities as an AWPer and rifler respectively. Seven more duos from teams across the world are yet to be announced to participate at the $50,000 event.
As it happens to be, this is not the first time Richard "shox" Papillon visits the PGL Studio to perform at the HTC Invitational. Last year the French CS:GO prodigy was able to come out on top of the competition, copping a serious $10,000 in prize money. After securing the second highest seed in both the first and second group stages, shox was faced with Natus Vincere's Denis "seized" Kostin, who he managed to best 2-1. In the grand final he met then Lounge Gaming representative Micha? "MICHU" Müller, who also fell to the legendary French player with a 2-1 score.
