G2 to travel to ELEAGUE playoffs with Simon “Fuks” Florysiak as stand-in

Cédric “RpK” Guipouy was advised by a specialist to avoid flying for the next few weeks to prevent further irritation of an ear problem, G2 use former LDLC player Simon “Fuks” Florysiak to supplement roster.

G2 announced earlier today that their top performing player at the recent major, ESL One Cologne 2016, will be unable to travel to Atlanta to compete in the ELEAGUE Season 1 playoffs due to a perforated eardrum. G2 had previously submitted two players as substitutes and now they elected to use “Fuks”, a former teammate of Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro on LDLC, to try to secure a spot in the playoffs by advancing out of the last chance qualifier.

“Fuks” had this to say about his opportunity to compete with G2:

It is an honor to make the trip with G2 for ELEAGUE. I know it will be hard for me to do as well as RpK, but I have worked hard to be in shape for this tournament. This is also an opportunity for me to show what I can do, and I will do my best to help the team. Maybe RpK’s stickers will also make me a TANK! ”

G2’s roster for the rest of ELEAGUE will be the following:

 Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux
 Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom
 Simon "Fuks" Florysiak

The single-elimination ELEAGUE last chance qualifier begins on Wednesday for G2 against Mousesports and then a potential match between the winner of FaZe Clan and CLG to secure a spot at the playoffs.
