Virtus.pro wins Starladder i-League invitational

The Polish team has taken first place at Starladder's i-League invitational this weekend in Kiev after taking out their CIS rivals Natus Vincere in 3-0 in a surprising upset on their home turf, winning de_inferno, de_train, and de_cobble all in convincing fashion. Astralis drops cajunb, adds Kjaerbye 

The player-owned organization has made their first ever roster change since their founding this week as Astralis and dignitas have revealed that they have swapped Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and Rene "cajunb" Borg. The move comes after a spell of underperformance from cajunb, who has being been noticeably lacking in impact on the team since January.

Peacemaker moves to Liquid

Team Liquid gained a valuable asset this week, signing on former Tempo Storm coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu soon after he agreed to leave his coaching position on the Brazilian teams just days prior. Read a piece of peacemaker's full statement on his move below:

IEM Oakland tickets to go on sale

The next stop in the Intel Extreme Masters circuit for CS:GO and LoL has been known for some time, but fans in California and elsewhere will soon be able to get their hands on tickets for the event when they go live on Monday, May 23rd. IEM Oakland's tournaments will take place in the Oracle Arena, a massive indoor venue that can seat nearly 20,000 fans at once, with IEM Oakland being the first ever eSports event to hosted there.

gBot's Spanish CS:GO roster has been under pressure over past months with a number of their star players being poached by larger organizations, the most recent instance being Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas signing with the North American OpTic Gaming. Now the team will be undergoing yet another roster move as David "kairi" de Miguel has revealed that he will be stepping down from the team's starting roster due to personal reasons, namely a lack of drive to play at a competitive level, but will stay with the organization as a stand-in.
