RCTIC eSports acquires ex-Epiphany line-up

RCTIC eSports have made a comeback to the CS:GO scene by acquiring an all Finnish line-up, best known for playing for Epiphany.

RCTIC eSports has announced that the organisation has acquired the ex Epiphany line-up. The all Finnish line-up was in the spotlight by pushning themselves into the ESL One Cologne closed qualifier as well as finishing 3rd-4th at AMD CS:GO Challenge Summer 2015.

Epiphany has released an official statement where the organisation said that players didn't want to renew their contracts:

It is with some sadness in our hearts we announce that Epiphany Bolt will part ways with our CS:GO team. Reason for this is due to not coming to an agreement on a new contract extension. The team has grown a lot since joining us and we will always have a lot of memories from ESL One and Assembly Summer to name some highlights during these six months together. We hope that the team finds what they are looking for and we part ways on good terms, the mutual support will always be there. Thanks sAw, Twista, SAGGERTON, xseveN, ZOREE, gstus and Juho for your time in Epiphany Bolt! With that said we will of course be looking to sign a new team to continue making an impact in CS:GO. Any T2/T3 teams that's interested can contact [email protected] with applications.

Slaava "Twista" Räsänen gave the following statement regarding joining the organization:

We have reached a point where it´s time to start a new chapter with our team. We have had a good run with an amazing organization Epiphany Bolt. We would like to give huge respect to the owners of the orga, Kyle and Jimmy and everyone else working with us, it was a pleasure to work with them. Now it is time to represent a Finnish organisation to support finnish scene more and bring us to knowledge in the top scene. We will be joining none other than the biggest organisation in Finland RCTIC Logitech G. With such a stable and professional organization supporting us we can truly start focusing only on playing!

On the other hand, RCTIC eSports' CEO, Jere "LeLE" Alanen, said the following in their welcoming statement:

Our goal for this year has been to be top1 in Finland as an organization and also by team side. We've been following Epiphany's progress since we saw their potential at RCTIC Day -event, and it was totaly pleasure to sign up contracts with them. This way we can offer this team, which is doing great progress all the time, all required ingredients to develop further to get to top level and being able to fully focus on gaming. Also with this move we are bringing our organization into level where it's Finnish representation needs to be in Counter-Strike.

The new RCTIC eSports team is currently playing at the Uprise Champions Cup:Season 3, where they are sitting at third place with one win and one loss. They still have the chance to move on from the second group stage if they manage to beat Phenomenom in the direct clash for second place of this group.
