TempoStorm expands into CS:GO

The North American organization, known for Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm, have expanded their brand into CS:GO.

TempoStorm announced their signing of the North American-based team Ascendency. The team, led by Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki, posted an impressive 16-0 record in the North American ESEA Season 18 Premier division.

Andrey "Reynad" Yanyjk, owner and CEO of Tempo Storm, had this to say of the expansion into CS:GO:

I have personally seen the CS:GO crowd at Deamhacks double the amount of spectators that their stage is built for every time I've been there. The community strongly supports Counter Strike, and so do we. Tempo Storm is very lucky to have picked up the best up and coming team in North America, and I'm excited to watch the guys compete under our banner from now on.”

Chris "Chiznoe" Toussaint will step in as the team's manager for Tempo Storm and the team will consist of the full line up from Ascendency:

Ricky "sLip" Cohen
Peter "Stanislaw" Jarguz
Max "Assailant" Gallagher
Mitchell "Glorinsz" MacInnis

The team will compete in the ESEA Premier Division finals this coming Thursday against either mouseSpaz or SYNRGY for the Premier Division crown and the prize pool of $6000.
