Team Dignitas took a very convincing win against one of the favorites of this event, Fnatic in a bronze medal match.

The series started on de_nuke which was Dignitas' pick, so Fnatic had that advantage starting over at the CT side. However, the Danes managed to completely shut Fnatic down and managed to take the first half in their control finishing the first half with the lead of 9-6 at the T side. The second half was just a pure execution for a 16-7 as the final score.
The second map was Fnatic's choice, de_mirage. This time Dignitas kicked off at CT side winning a pistol round but quickly losing the anti-eco round which followed. Fnatic was exchanging rounds with them which brought them six rounds at the end of the first half at T side. It was fair to expect that Fnatic will take this one and prolonged this match to go onto the third map. However, the Danish team led by "double D", device and dupreeh was just unstoppable and Fnatic's defense was slowly but surely falling apart. Dignitas' made it to the overtime where they already by then had a full control of this map to finish it off 19-17 and to take a third place at MLG X Games and a prize of 7,500 USD in their pockets.
In the winner's interview dupreeh said that both device and cajunb were MVPs of his team, cajunb was the leading player yesterday during the semis while device had a perfect day today. On the other hand he also said how karrigan's presence brought them a different approach at T side which resulted in this win.
