[s]event_212[/s]GosuGamers posted two days ago that rumours was going around that the Polish player SunCow was taken to prison. Rumours came after a forum post by a person who said he knew SunCow and that he was his neighbour. GosuGamers contacted SunCow's clanmate Raven to find out more. He said he had reliable sources however not 100% sure. It was a very serious topic, and publishing a newspost based on rumours about such topic was foolish.The newspost was published, but was written in a a way that was not in any case meant to be raw facts, and was in no way meant for some sort of blacklist attempt. The interest around SunCow and his whereabouts was interesting not only because his trip to Korea aspiring to become a progamer, but also for being a great player and being a part in various events such as Sandlot.
MeetYourMakers Editorial Supervisor Alpine writes at MeetYourMakers that SunCow is not at all in prison. "Suncow was actually rather far from prison - in a nearby hospital." he writes, and explains how it all happened. The MeetYourMakers officials have talked to SunCow's mother and she confirms it is true.
I take the full responsibility for this, and I am deeply sorry for all the trouble it has caused. I know that rumours should be looked upon with a critical eye and especially when it comes down to this. I made a mistake, but at the same time stated that it was rumours and nothing else. The sources were mistaken, and I should have known better not to jump to the conclusion that it was true.
I apologize to SunCow, MeetYourMakers and all others it have caused trouble. It was stupid of me, and if I was able to turn back the clock, I would have done so and never posted it in the first place.
