PGL Invitational starts tomorrow at 16:30 CET, with a mix of the best players from China, Korea and Europe. Winner takes home 15,000 yuan!
With support from the Chinese government and local broadcasting channels in China, this event looks to be quite a spectacular one. The organizers have tried their best to involve the fans as all the players will be voted on. This plays a big part in the future of the event, as the least popular player might get eliminated after the first round, no matter winning or losing.
After the first round, two matches between four of the losers will be played. The losers of those two matches will then play against the least popular player, and the lowest ranked player in the end will have to leave the tournament.
Then, another round will take place the next day, with a similar system. In then end three players will remain, and these three will play together with the fourth player who gets revived based on the players' popularity, decided by the fans.

All matches will be played best of three, and the map pool is Lost Temple, Twisted Meadows, Echo Isle, Terenas Stand and Turtle Rock. Good luck to all players, and do not forget to place your bets on the matches!
